Zach is a Master’s level Clinical Social Worker, earning his degree from Wayne State University. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University. Zach has been practicing in the field since 2013. Zach operates from a person-centered approach when working with patient’s. Following person-centered therapy principles, he believes everyone has the capacity for self-direction. He has training and actively utilizes psychodynamic principle’s, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and motivational interviewing. He views individuals holistically, paying special attention to creativity, free will, and positive human potential. Zach believes everyone is worthy of growth, happiness and stability. He believes each individual adds value to society and can obtain enlightenment and reach self-actualization. Zach is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).
